4. Pricing

Additional Charges: Additional fees may apply for services such as oversized packages, special handling, customs clearance, or remote area deliveries. Any extra charges will be communicated to the customer before the shipment is processed.

Customs Duties & Taxes: For international shipments, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees that may apply to the shipment. Move It will assist with customs paperwork but is not responsible for any customs delays or charges.
5. Packaging

Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for properly packaging their items to ensure they are secure during transit. Packaging must meet the guidelines provided by Move It for safe and efficient delivery.

Move It’s Packaging Services: Move It offers packaging services upon request. Additional fees may apply.
6. Delivery and Receipt of Shipments

Delivery Locations: Move It will deliver to the address specified by the customer at the time of booking. Deliveries are made to the address provided, and the recipient must be available to accept the shipment. Failure to do so may result in a failed delivery attempt or additional charges for redelivery.

Proof of Delivery: A signature or other proof of delivery may be required at the destination. If a recipient is unavailable, the delivery may be rescheduled or returned, subject to additional fees.

Missed Deliveries: In the case of missed deliveries, Move It will attempt to re-deliver at no additional cost, within the available service timeframes. If redelivery is not possible, the shipment may be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.
7. Liability and Limitations

Limitation of Liability: Move It is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by factors beyond its control, including, but not limited to, weather conditions, strikes, customs delays, or government actions.

Loss or Damage Claims: In the event of loss or damage to a shipment, Move It will provide assistance with the claims process. However, the liability for lost or damaged shipments is limited to the maximum coverage provided by Move It, and additional insurance can be purchased by the customer at the time of booking.

Exclusions: Move It is not responsible for loss or damage to shipments containing prohibited, perishable, or fragile items unless additional insurance or special handling arrangements have been made.
8. Prohibited Items

Customers are prohibited from shipping any items that are illegal, hazardous, or restricted by local or international law. A list of prohibited items includes (but is not limited to):

Explosives, flammable materials, and chemicals

Perishable food items

Dangerous or illegal substances (e.g., narcotics, controlled substances)

Currency, negotiable instruments, or financial documents

Items that violate intellectual property rights

If a prohibited item is found in a shipment, Move It reserves the right to reject, confiscate, or destroy the shipment, with no refund provided.

9. Customs & Import Regulations

Customs Compliance: Shipments traveling across borders are subject to customs inspections. Move It will assist customers with the required customs declarations, but the customer is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring compliance with the relevant import/export regulations.

Customs Delays: Move It is not responsible for any delays caused by customs inspection or customs issues. Customers should ensure they are familiar with the customs regulations of the destination country.
10. Termination or Suspension of Service

Right to Terminate: Move It reserves the right to terminate or suspend service for any customer who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

Refunds: In the case of service termination due to Move It’s error or failure to fulfill its obligations, the customer may be entitled to a refund, subject to the terms outlined in our Refund Policy.

Application Process: Companies can apply for a business account by submitting an online application form on our website or by contacting our customer service team. Move It reserves the right to approve or reject any application for a company account at its discretion.

Account Approval: Upon approval of the application, Move It will provide the company with an account number and login credentials to access the company account portal. This portal allows the company to manage shipments, make payments, and track deliveries.
Terms and Conditions for Company Accounts

Payment Terms:

Payment for services on a company account must be made according to the agreed terms. The company may choose to pay via invoice, credit, or other methods as specified by Move It.

Invoice Terms: Unless otherwise agreed, invoices for shipments will be issued on a [weekly/monthly] basis and are due for payment within [30/60] days from the date of issue. Late payments may be subject to interest charges or suspension of account services.

Credit Limits: Move It may assign a credit limit to the company account based on the company’s creditworthiness, payment history, and other factors. If the company exceeds the assigned credit limit, Move It reserves the right to temporarily suspend services or request immediate payment for any outstanding balance.

Use of Company Account

Authorized Users: The company account is for use by authorized employees or representatives of the company. The company is responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals access and use the account.

Account Security: The company is responsible for keeping account login credentials secure. Any unauthorized use of the company account must be reported to Move It immediately. Move It is not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized access to the account.
Account Suspension or Termination

Suspension of Account: Move It reserves the right to suspend or terminate a company account if the company fails to adhere to these Terms and Conditions, including non-payment of invoices or exceeding the credit limit.

Termination of Account: Either party may terminate the company account with written notice. If the account is terminated, any outstanding payments must be settled immediately. The company will be responsible for all charges incurred up to the date of termination.
Account Changes

Updating Company Information: The company must promptly inform Move It of any changes to the business name, address, VAT number, or other important details related to the account.

Changes to Payment Terms: Move It reserves the right to modify payment terms, including invoice schedules, credit limits, and fees. The company will be notified of any such changes in advance.

Payment Methods

Accepted Payment Methods: Move It accepts various payment methods for company accounts, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and direct debit. The company may choose the most convenient payment method when settling invoices or making payments through the company account.

Late Payments: In the event of late payment, Move It reserves the right to charge interest on the overdue amount at a rate of 8% per month, or the maximum allowable rate under applicable law. Late payments may also result in temporary suspension of services until the overdue balance is cleared.
Account Review

Move It reserves the right to review and adjust company account terms periodically, including credit limits, payment terms, and account status. Any changes will be communicated to the company in advance.
Miscellaneous Provisions

Governing Law: These company account terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the company account agreement shall be subject to the dispute resolution provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
By opening a company account with Move It, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
